Painting Project - 2024

During the first term, we embarked on an ambitious project to repaint all classrooms and the school premises, creating a more welcoming and uplifting environment for our learners. We reached out to our community for support, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. We are immensely grateful to everyone who stepped forward to assist us in this endeavour.

Unfortunately, in the second term, we faced significant financial strain due to the austerity measures enforced by the WCED, which compelled us to cover the salaries of four educators for the remainder of the year. This unexpected burden required us to drastically scale back our school rejuvenation plans, deferring some aspects of the renewal project.

Looking to the new year, we remain hopeful that we can resume these efforts to revitalise our school's environment. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our friends and colleagues for their valued contributions, without which none of this would have been possible. Your support has made a real difference to our school community, and we look forward to your continued involvement in the future.

Educational Trust

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Charl Kinnear Educational Trust Fund, named in honour of our former learner and esteemed detective, who was tragically killed in the line of duty. This generous support has been instrumental in our efforts to enhance the school environment, and we are deeply grateful for the trust’s invaluable contribution. Thank you for helping us make a difference.
